"Casa pequena is a lovely place held by a genuinely nice young couple. For nature and simplicity lovers this place is like heaven. Comfort is basic overall and the owners offer the option to have lunch and dinner on site with good local food. Internet access is a scare ressource only accessible from the main building for the time being but you don't really go there to spend your day on social networks. "A little piece of heaven. Very close to the Corcovado National Park, you can walk there. Everyday we would go on a hike, as soon as you walk out of the hotel you start seeing monkeys and all sorts of wildlife. Heck, you don't even need to leave the hotel. We had a group of scarlet macaws constantly hanging out in a tree right outside our room. And a brave little monkey paid a visit one day as well. The food prepared by Chef Coco was amazing! Everything was sourced locally and made from scratch....

"My husband and I found this property that was right in the beach. You can hear the waves you are that close. We took walks on the beach and Kenneth helped set up the scuba and snorkel trip we too that picked us up on the beach !! We had a room with outdoor kitchen and balcony with hammock and a view of the ocean. We would return to the same room if we visit Drake Nay again !!"

"This hotel is run by a lovely couple. If you are looking for an accommodation with family atmosphere, you don’t need to seek further. The breakfast is delicious. The hotel’s garden is full of wildlife, particularly birds, but also agutis and basilisks. I can highly recommend the accommodation. "

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Drake Bay Getaway Lodge. Nestled high in the trees with a spectacular view of Drake Bay, we went to sleep with the sound of the pounding surf and the calls of green-eyed tree frogs and awoke every morning to the sounds of Capuchin monkeys and yellow toucans. Do yourself a favor and have dinner at the hotel as often as you can. Chef Lily is a true artiste both in terms of flavour and presentation. Her passion-fruit creme brulee might be the best dessert I’ve ever had. The entire staff takes great care to ensure an enjoyable stay. We enthusiastically recommend staying here."

"The staff was helpful, warm and kind. The room was stunning. Wrap around windows, including the bathroom shower. Views of the ocean and up the hill into the trees. We regularly watched pairs of macaws fly in front of us. Immaculately clean. The coffee and yogurt served in the dining hall were unusually tasty. I highly recommend staying here if you go to Osa. Ask for room 3! Many of the tours depart from here, and it's the closest to the supermarket and laundry. Be aware that the rooms are very small with little storage space. However, if you came by plane - you likely only have a backpack anyway. Also it is hard to find the main office. "

"Our stay at Tranquilo Lodge was an absolute dream. Sebastien and Christophe are the most amazing hosts. Sebastien helped us plan out the best 4-5 day itenerary and was always around to help with anything we needed during our stay. The grounds are beautiful and maintained well and the view from the pool is absolutely stunning. The serving staff Cristina and Alex were so friendly and attentive. The Chef cooked up amazing lunches and lovely 3-4 course dinners. My wife and I look forward to coming back to Drake Bay to visit everyone at Tranquilo Lodge again in the future !"
